Our Story

We build homes the way they should be — with considered design, quality materials, and a deep respect for the places they sit within.

Andrew Scrase · Founder, Indianic Homes

Scrase Family

Built for the South West — Indianic Homes was founded by Andrew Scrase — a builder with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, and a deep appreciation for the South West of Western Australia and the lifestyle it offers.

Andrew started Indianic Homes with a clear conviction: that the South West deserved a custom home builder who understood the region intimately — its conditions, its character, and the lifestyle its residents are drawn to. Not a company importing ideas from elsewhere, but one that is truly of this place.

From early projects along the Busselton foreshore to architecturally ambitious coastal builds in Dunsborough and Eagle Bay, the business has grown steadily through reputation, referral, and a refusal to compromise on the things that matter.

Today, Indianic Homes is recognised as one of the South West’s most considered custom builders — a company that brings together design intelligence, construction discipline, and a genuine passion for the region it serves.

Our Approach

01

Design-Led from the Start

Every Indianic home begins with a design conversation — not a price list. With our own in-house architects and interior designers, we bring the full creative team to the table from day one. Our clients don’t need to go elsewhere for vision — it lives under our roof. Good design doesn’t cost more. Poor design always does.

02

Built for the South West

The South West has a specific climate, a specific aesthetic, and a specific way of living. We build for all three. Our homes are designed to connect to the landscape — through material selection, orientation, and an understanding of how coastal and bush environments age and perform over time.

03

Relationships Over Transactions

The majority of our work comes through referral. That tells us more than any marketing metric. We build homes people are proud to live in and proud to talk about — and we maintain relationships with our clients long after the keys are handed over.

Family owned. Family operated. At its core, Indianic Homes is a family business. Andrew leads the company with a hands-on approach that filters through every project — from the initial client brief to the final site inspection.

Our team is deliberately lean and highly capable. We don’t run dozens of projects simultaneously. We run the right number of projects to a standard we’re proud of — with Andrew and the core team present and accountable at every stage.

We are supported by a trusted network of South West trades and consultants who share our values and our standards. People who have built with us for years, and who understand what an Indianic home requires.
